Shell McDonalds/KFC, Northmead, Sydney
Project Description
This is a new to industry site comprising a Shell Service Station with integrated McDonalds fast food Outlet and separate KFC fast food outlet with facility for two future retail outlets. The project comprised extensive roadworks in a busy area of Sydney.
Timing
Commissioned in August 2002.
Value
Total project value for the facilities designed by TfA was $3.5 million.
TfA Involvement
TfA's role included full project management, architectural, civil, structural, mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and landscaping detailed design, tender documentation, contract negotiations, site supervision, commissioning and user documentation.
Challenges
Design coordination to satisfy national image and design standards of three major brands – Shell, McDonalds and KFC.
