Shell Pinkenba Lubricant Plant
Project Description
This project facilitated the expansion of the Shell Pinkenba Lube Blending Plant. The project incorporated asbestos removal, extensions to the existing package warehouse, construction of a new warehouse building, three new blending storage tanks, five new pumps, extensive piping works and two new filling machines. The project required significant co-ordination with the different business units on site to minimise disruption to operations.

Construction completed November 2004.

Total project value approximately $5 million.
TfA Contribution
TfA provided project management, detailed design and construction site supervision. This included hydraulic analysis, HAZOP leadership, two on site construction supervisors during construction activities, co-ordination of all regulatory body approvals, commissioning and site documentation.
