Environmental Policy
POLICY FOR HEALTH,
SAFETY AND THE ENVIRONMENT
All activities will be carried out so as to protect the health and safety of employees, contractors, clients and the community while paying proper regard to protecting the environment. TfA’s design & project management policy ensure all legal requirements are complied with as a minimum.
To achieve this, TfA will:
· provide and maintain healthy and safe work areas and practices
· review work areas, equipment and methods, to further improve safety and health, in both TfA’s workplace and in those projects managed by TfA
· provide design to prevent accidental releases and spillages
· provide health, safety and environmental training for employees and end users
· provide services & designs which are able to be used safely, without endangering the health of users or others and which can be used in a way that does not harm the environment
· In the event that an injury occurs, all efforts shall be made to accommodate and encourage that person back to the work place so as to contribute in a productive manner.
· TfA’s workplace shall prohibit the use of illicit drugs and shall promote the responsible consumption of alcohol. No alcohol shall be consumed during work hours.
· All employees, sub-consultants and contractors are accountable for health, safety and environmental performance in their areas
