Tam is passionate about providing a one stop shop to his clients. Tam started his professional career with Shell, where he held various senior engineering and operational management positions across Australia. Whilst at Shell, Tam realised the huge value a fully integrated project team can provide and since TfA's establishment, the market has agreed, allowing Tam to grow TfA Project Group from strength to strength.
Throughout his career, Tam has had many diverse experiences, developing his expertise and reputation as a one stop shop in and of himself. Tam has;
- Project managed, from inception to operation, Australia's first grain to ethanol processing facility, Dalby Bio-Refinery
- Project managed the design through commissioning of service stations, truckstops, including integrated Hungry Jacks and McDonald’s food restaurants
- Managed terminal demolition and remediation, design and construction of bitumen process plants, mine fuel and lubricant facilities
- Designed and managed the introduction of bottom loading fuel gantries to Australia
- Been accredited with and gained experience in tanker ship discharges, bulk fuel terminal and bitumen processing operations, dangerous goods consulting, hazardous area design and safe work permitting
- Authored and provided the training for a national engineering quality assurance program
- Negotiated international equipment supply agreements for Shell
- Consulted to Shell for pre-positioning retail outlets in Indonesia, South Korea, North Korea
Tam actively participates in projects, directly providing his clients with immense value, gained from his depth of experience and expansive expertise.
