TfA is seeking an enthusiastic civil engineer with 3 to 10 years experience to join our Brisbane team. This role will see you working with a group of enthusiastic engineers in an enjoyable atmosphere. Some of the benefits are:

Your responsibilities will include:
-
Foundation and concrete design,
-
Dam and bund design,
-
Road alignment and pavement design
-
Stormwater modelling
-
Stormwater quality design and reporting
-
Stormwater detention and retention design
-
Environmental impact reporting
-
House drainage and sewerage reticulation design
-
Hot and cold water reticulation design
-
Fire hydrant and hose reel design
-
Assisting with the preparation, interpretation and review of calculations, specifications, plans, investigations, surveys, structures, systems and equipment
-
Working within a multi-disciplined team on a range of projects without the need for close supervision
-
Reviewing and checking designs, drawings and data by other engineers or by suppliers meeting specifications
-
Contributing to fee proposals and actively monitoring the financial performance of your project
-
Carrying out inspections and liaising with contractors
The successful applicant will:
-
Have at least three years relevant experience,
-
Be self-motivated,
-
Have excellent knowledge of Australian standards,
-
Have excellent communication skills (oral and written) and have excellent relationship skills,

Have experience writing documentation at the different stages of a project,

Have a Tertiary qualification in Civil / Structural Engineering
