We are currently seeking an Engineer with a minimum 5 years’ relevant industry experience to join our office in the Perth CBD.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting Project Managers to deliver projects on time and within budget
- Assist in the preparation of fee proposals
- Supporting Project Engineering functions such as the preparation of project documentation such as tender documents, project specifications, scope of works documents and design drawing packages.
- Performing and documenting engineering calculations such as hydraulic modelling, surge analysis, stress analysis, equipment sizing and datasheets
- Assisting in the preparation and review of User Specifications, PFD’s, P&ID’s and attendance at design reviews and HAZOP’s
- On-site inspections and preparation of inspection reports
- Liaison with other discipline engineers to ensure that our designs are fully integrated and compliant with client and project specific requirements
- Liaison with clients, authorities, suppliers and sub-consultants as required
The successful applicant will:
- Have a bachelor degree qualification (degree recognised by Engineers Australia); preference for mechanical, civil or chemical
- Be a current member of Engineers Australia
- Have obtained or at minimum, be in the process of obtaining Chartered status with Engineers Australia and Registered Professional Engineer status within respective states
- Have a minimum 5 years’ relevant industry experience
- Be self-motivated and proactive in seeking completion of project milestones
- Conversant with software packages such as Autodesk (i.e. AutoCAD, Plant 3D, Civil 3D, Advanced Steel), FluidFlow, Bentley Autopipe, BOSfluids, 12d, Music, Drains and PCdrain (where applicable to discipline)
- Excellent communication skills in English (oral and written),
- Be able to work autonomously with sound time management skills
- Be able to demonstrate a high level of technical writing skills
- Have excellent communication skills (oral and written)
- Possess a systematic and analytical approach and have a high regard for accuracy
- Be able to demonstrate professional work ethic, approachable personality and desire to produce high quality deliverables
- Competent in MS Office and desire to learn a range of design software packages
Prior experience working in multi-disciplinary design and engineering consultancies or one of the above industries will be highly regarded.linary design and engineering consultancies will be highly regarded.
