The Role:
- Assist in the preparation and lodgement of development applications
- Assist in the preparation of consent amendments and various environmental permit applications
- Preparing preliminary planning advice to clients and relevant planning policy review
- Preparation of town planning reports
- Liaison with councils and other related authorities
- Preparation of fee proposals
- Work with Senior Planners to deliver successful project outcomes
- Maintain knowledge and understanding of relevant approval legislation
- Liaison with the internal project team
Skills & experience:
- Be able to demonstrate excellent work ethic with an attention to detail and desire to produce high quality deliverables
- Demonstrated tertiary qualifications in Town Planning with up to 3 years post graduate experience
- Be able to demonstrate a high level of technical writing skills
- Be self-motivated and proactive in seeking completion of project milestones
- Have excellent communication skills (oral and written) in English
