TFA undertook the detailed design and project management of a new bitumen blower unit system. TfA were lead process engineers for the project integrating Italian technology into the existing plant, preparing P&ID’s, energy balance, heat integration into the existing plant, performing detailed design, 3D pipe modelling, civil and structural works.
Part of the project works include the upgrade of the fire system, in which a new CO2 gas system was designed for the blower unit, new hydrant lines and additional fire alarm detection system in the new MCC.
