This project included the removal of 2 x 10 KL underground diesel tanks and replacing them with a 70 KL double walled fibre glass tank.
The facility was upgraded with electronic tank and line leak detection, including tank level monitoring. New submersible pumps were installed in the tank turrets to increase the flow rate to the wharf. The new pumps and piping were required to meet future expansion plans.
Phase II was designed which entailed the removal of the existing single wall galvanise pipe and replacing it with double wall UPP or equivalent piping.
