Craig Duffield joined TFA’s Brisbane office in 2004 as a designer and project manager. He is now a Director and specialises in retail & commercial fuel projects. Craig currently heads the TFA Sydney office and national TFA Project Management team.
Craig brings a practical approach to his work due to his experience both initially working on-site in the
construction of service stations (including the installation of retail fuel systems) and subsequently working as a retail design draftsman, civil engineering designer and finally project manager. During the course of his work at TFA, Craig has rotated through different roles within the business and can relate to all fields and sectors. This has seen him intimately involved in a variety of projects including: simple service station re-tanks and upgrades; numerous new service station and highway service station developments; marina and wharf refuelling facilities; mining and lube-farm depot facilities; aviation depots and systems; refinery demolition, conversion and master planning of future site uses; government bus and transport refuelling depots; and state-wide new service station development program rollouts.
This experience is vast and provides valuable experience and guidance to new and existing clients alike for project planning, power and other utilities servicing, relevant Development/Building/Construction approvals and permits, detailed design, cost control and construction management. Craig relocated to the TFA Sydney office in 2014 to support TFA’s strategic growth vision and to support existing clients who were looking for alternate support for their NSW and ACT projects. Craig holds a Bachelor of Engineering Technology (Civil), is a Member of Engineers Australia, and is a Licensed Site Supervisor under the Queensland Building and Construction Commission.
