Jonathan joined TFA’s Brisbane Office in 2016. He is now a Director of TFA and leads the TFA’s terminals group.
Prior to joining TFA, Jonathan’s experience included both contractor and client-side project engineering and management roles within the refining, terminals and fuel industries. Previous responsibilities included the planning and delivery of annual tank maintenance programs, execution of tank maintenance and construction projects, minor and major Capex improvement projects, and contractor site operations.
Jonathan’s project portfolio includes the successful delivery of minor CAPEX improvement projects including Jet Road Tanker Loading, Biodiesel Import and Blending, Tank product re-allocations and multiproduct wharf import and export pipelines and diversions. Jonathan’s major CAPEX project experience includes the execution of a $50M+ EPC Bitumen Terminal Expansion Project.
His experience covers all project phases from concept to closeout, decommissioning and commissioning, process and construction safety, shutdown planning and execution, tank and pipeline repairs, and testing and inspection. This experience extends further to project controls, tender and contract management, dispute resolution and arbitration.
Since joining TFA, Jonathan has played a key role in multi-discipline engineering design management and project management across a variety of projects including Bitumen, Fuels, Lubricants, Chemicals and Aviation Storage and Distribution. With a blend of Contractor, Client and Consultant side experience, Jonathan strengthens TFA’s ability to understand our Clients project requirements and objectives.
Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering and a Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute.
