Our Melbourne office is growing, and we are seeking expressions of interest from Chemical Engineering final year students and recent graduates to work at our office in Docklands.
The successful applicant will:
- Have excellent communication skills (oral and written).
- Possess a systematic and analytical approach and have a high regard for accuracy.
- Be able to demonstrate aptitude in technical calculations.
- Be able to demonstrate a high level of technical report writing skills.
- Be self-motivated and proactive in seeking completion of project milestones.
Responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the Project Manager to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Preparation and review of project specifications, PFD’s, P&ID’s.
- Producing engineering deliverables such as mass and heat balances, thermal calculations, hydraulic modelling, pump, and equipment sizing and datasheets.
- Preparation of project specific technical reports, specifications and documents.
- Participating in risk assessments and HAZOP studies.
- Liaison with other discipline engineers to ensure that our designs are fully integrated and compliant with client and project specific requirements.
